The European Commission said on Friday that enough progress has been made in Brexit negotiations with Britain which will end an impasse over the status of the Irish border that had scuppered an earlier attempt to clinch the deal. British Prime Minister Theresa May is expecting a formal agreement to be approved at the European Union Summit next week.
