Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Wednesday accused the Congress of “peddling untruth” on the Rafale fighter aircraft deal. He said that NDA government is procuring Rafale aircraft at a 20 percent lower price than the one negotiated by the UPA in 2007. He also stated that a "false campaign" being run by the opposition party and its leader, Congress President Rahul Gandhi is like compromising with the national security.

केंद्रीय वित्त मंत्री अरुण जेटली ने बुधवार को कांग्रेस को राफेल लड़ाकू विमान डील को लेकर "असत्य फैलाने" का आरोप लगाया। उन्होंने कहा कि एनडीए सरकार 2007 में यूपीए द्वारा तय की गयी कीमतों की तुलना में 20 प्रतिशत कम कीमत पर राफेल विमान उपलब्ध करा रही है। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि विपक्षी दल और उसके नेता कांग्रेस अध्यक्ष राहुल गांधी द्वारा चलाया जा रहा "झूठा अभियान" राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा के साथ समझौता करने की तरह हैं।
