In view of the upcoming heat wave forecast in the national capital, the Delhi government on Wednesday issued guidelines on preparedness of schools for the ongoing heatwave. In a circular issued by the Delhi government, it has been said that all schools in Delhi recognized under the Directorate of Education will have to ensure that there is no gathering of students in the schools during the afternoon shift. The circular said, "Since the day temperature in Delhi during the summer season exceeds 40 degree Celsius, it is injurious to the health of children and adolescents studying in schools. Due to increase in temperature in NCR, heat-related There has been an increase in cases of the disease." An official circular states, “All government/government aided/private unaided schools recognized under the Directorate of Education shall ensure the availability of drinking water for the students in the schools. Breaks should be given." The Directorate of Education mentioned in its circular that schools will have to sensitize students to cover their heads during day time.

राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में आगामी लू की भविष्यवाणी के मद्देनजर, दिल्ली सरकार ने बुधवार को जारी गर्मी के लिए स्कूलों की तैयारियों पर दिशानिर्देश जारी किए. दिल्ली सरकार की ओर से जारी एक सर्कुलर में कहा गया है कि शिक्षा निदेशालय के तहत मान्यता प्राप्त दिल्ली के सभी स्कूलों को ये सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि दोपहर की पाली के दौरान स्कूलों में छात्रों का जमावड़ा न हो. सर्कुलर में कहा गया, "चूंकि दिल्ली में गर्मी के मौसम में दिन का तापमान 40 डिग्री सेल्सियस से अधिक हो जाता है, ये स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों और किशोरों के स्वास्थ्य के लिए हानिकारक है. एनसीआर में तापमान में वृद्धि के कारण गर्मी से संबंधित बीमारी के मामलों में वृद्धि हुई है."  एक आधिकारिक सर्कुलर में कहा गया है, "शिक्षा निदेशालय के तहत मान्यता प्राप्त सभी सरकारी/सरकारी सहायता प्राप्त/निजी गैर-सहायता प्राप्त स्कूलों को स्कूलों में छात्रों के लिए पीने के पानी की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करनी होगी. छात्रों को कक्षाओं के दौरान पानी के ब्रेक दिए जाने चाहिए." शिक्षा निदेशालय ने अपने सर्कुलर में उल्लेख किया कि स्कूलों को छात्रों को दिन के समय सिर ढकने के लिए जागरूक करना होगा.
