The Delhi High Court on Friday quashed the notification issued by President Ram Nath Kovind to disqualify 20 Aam Admi Party (AAP) MLAs. On January 19, Election Commission of India's poll panel had recommended the disqualification of 20 AAP MLAs who were holding the office of profit as parliamentary secretaries at that time. The HC termed this recommendation as “complete violation of natural justice” as the disqualified MLAs were not given the opportunity to explain their position before the poll panel.

दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय ने शुक्रवार को राष्ट्रपति राम नाथ कोविंद द्वारा आम आदमी पार्टी (आप) के 20 विधायकों को अयोग्य घोषित करने की अधिसूचना को अमान्य घोषित कर दिया। 19 जनवरी को भारतीय चुनाव आयोग ने आम आदमी पार्टी के 20 विधायकों की अयोग्यता की सिफारिश की थी, जो उस समय संसदीय सचिवों के रूप में लाभ के पद पर अधिकारित थे। हाई कोर्ट ने इस सिफारिश को "प्राकृतिक न्याय का पूर्ण उल्लंघन" बताया  क्योंकि अयोग्य घोषित विधायकों को पोल पैनल के आगे अपनी स्थिति स्पष्ट करने का अवसर नहीं दिया गया था।
