A special CBI court in Panchkula yesterday convicted Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim in a rape case filed against him 15 years ago. After the verdict, his followers went on a rampage and caused serious mayhem. The case was registered after an anonymous letter alleging sexual exploitation of several Sadhvis was sent to then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. 

पंचकूला की एक विशेष CBI अदालत ने डेरा सच्चा सौदा के प्रमुख गुरमीत राम रहीम को 15 साल पहले दर्ज एक बलात्कार के मामले में कल दोषी करार दिया। निर्णय के बाद उनके अनुयायियों ने क्रोधावेश में आकर गंभीर तबाही मचाई। यह मामला तब दर्ज किया गया था जब कई साध्वीयों के यौन शोषण का आरोप लगाते हुए एक अनाम पत्र तत्कालीन प्रधान मंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेयी को भेजा गया था।
