Divyakriti Singh of Rajasthan, who won the country a historic gold medal in horse riding after a long gap of 41 years and a member of the Indian Equestrian Dressage Team, was honored with the Arjuna Award by President Draupadi Murmu on Tuesday. He has been given this award for his excellent performance in the Asian Games 2023. While studying psychology at Delhi University, Divyakriti did not participate in any competition for two years because she did not have a horse to participate in the competition. But her father recognized his daughter's talent and encouraged her by buying a horse from Germany. With the help of the horse, he completed his further training, the result of which was that the Indian team could give a historic performance in the Asian Games. Divyakriti was taking training in Europe (Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria) while studying at Jesus and Mary College, Delhi University. Not only this, he has also taken training in Wellington-Florida, United States of America, which is considered the horse riding capital of the world.

देश को घुड़सवारी में 41 साल के लंबे अंतराल के बाद ऐतिहासिक स्वर्ण पदक दिलाने वाली और भारतीय घुड़सवारी ड्रेसाज टीम की सदस्य राजस्थान की दिव्यकृति सिंह को मंगलवार को राष्ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मू ने अर्जुन अवार्ड से सम्मानित किया. इस उन्हें यह अवॉर्ड एशियन गेम्स (Asian Games 2023) में शानदार प्रदर्शन के लिए दिया गया है. दिल्ली विश्वद्यालय के मनोविज्ञान पढ़ाई की पढ़ाई करने के दौरान दिव्यकृति ने दो साल तक किसी भी प्रतियोगिता में भाग नहीं लिया, क्योंकि उनके पास प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिए घोड़ा नहीं था. लेकिन उनके पिता ने अपनी बेटी के हुनर को पहचाना और जर्मनी से एक घोड़ा खरीदकर प्रोत्साहित किया. घोड़े की मदद से बाद उन्होंने अपनी आगे की ट्रेनिंग पूरी की, जिसका नतीजा यह हुआ कि भारतीय टीम एशियाई खेलों में ऐतिहासिक प्रदर्शन कर सकी. दिव्यकृति ने अपनी पढ़ाई दिल्ली विश्वविद्यालय के जीसस एंड मैरी कॉलेज से पढ़ाई के दौरान ही यूरोप में (नीदरलैंड, बेल्जियम, जर्मनी, ऑस्ट्रिया) में ट्रेनिंग ले रही थीं. इतना ही नहीं, उन्होंने दुनिया में घुड़सवारी की राजधानी माने जाने वाले वेलिंगटन-फ्लोरिडा, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका में भी ट्रेनिंग ली है.
