Many were killed and injured when a high-speed, intense and gruesome dust storm on Wednesday night wreaked havoc in different parts of UP and Rajasthan. Around 70 people are reported to have died in this squall. Maximum destruction is being reported from the areas of UP where Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sternly ordered that there should be no laxity in the relief work. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings for the possibility of more thunderstorm and strong winds in the coming days.
