Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank released an
alternative academic calendar for classes 6 to 8. This calendar is for the next two months. He gave information about this through a tweet where he wrote, "The
alternative academic calendar for the upper primary stage (classes VI to VIII) was released four weeks ago. I have today released the academic calendar for the next eight weeks." In this optional academic calendar of two months,
guidelines have been given that students who do not have internet facility will be provided education to students by sending SMS on mobile or by phone. Online education is being given
priority due to Coronavirus.
