After struggling for a long spell of illness, a topnotch poet, eloquent orator and great statesman, 93 years old former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away yesterday evening. condoling the death of his idol, PM Modi said, "I am in a void. His passing away marks the end of an era. He lived for the nation and served it assiduously for decades." Mr. Vajpayee was accorded with the state funeral at Rashtriya Smriti Sthal.
