The government on Friday announced five measures aimed at fortifying the rupee as for the past few weeks, its value has seen a slump in comparison with the dollar. Seems like it's a clear signal that the government will intervene to manage the current volatility in the forex market. While more steps are in the offing, economic affairs secretary Subhash Chandra Garg said these five concrete steps will surely help in improving the current situation.
