The Union Health Ministry is working towards using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in a safe and effective way in public health. Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan said in Lok Sabha on July 12 that to address gaps in India’s AI ecosystem and realise its economic impact, the central government has prioritised building AI technology capabilities. “The potential of AI in public health is being explored in our country. The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) is working towards using AI in a safe and effective way in public health in India,” he said during Question Hour.

केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्रालय सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य में सुरक्षित और प्रभावी तरीके से आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस (एआई) का उपयोग करने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है। केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य मंत्री हर्षवर्धन ने 12 जुलाई को लोकसभा में कहा कि भारत के AI पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र में अंतर को दूर करने और इसके आर्थिक प्रभाव को महसूस करने के लिए, केंद्र सरकार ने AI प्रौद्योगिकी क्षमताओं के निर्माण को प्राथमिकता दी है। “हमारे देश में सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य में AI की संभावना का पता लगाया जा रहा है। स्वास्थ्य और परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय (MoHFW) भारत में सार्वजनिक स्वास्थ्य में सुरक्षित और प्रभावी तरीके से AI का उपयोग करने की दिशा में काम कर रहा है, ”उन्होंने प्रश्नकाल के दौरान कहा।
