Cold wave continues in most areas of North India for three consecutive days. Snowfall in the mountains has increased the cold in the plains. Due to heavy snowfall in many areas of Himachal Pradesh, the roads in Chamba have been closed and the power has gone down. After the snowfall, there is also a 6 km long jam on the Kalka-Shimla highway due to the increased number of tourists in the mountains of Himachal.
