School students in Rajasthan will now read the story of bravery of Indian Air Force pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman in textbooks. The proposal came from the state’s education minister Govind Singh Dotasra who cited the pilot’s school education in Jodhpur as he tweeted on Monday “Abhinandan’s story of bravery will be introduced in the school syllabus of Rajasthan in a bid to honour him.” But Dotasra did not mention the classes where Wing Commander Abhinandan’s story will be studied. Earlier the minister had proposed the addition of stories of troopers who died in the Pulwama attack in the syllabus which was accepted by the syllabus review committee.
राजस्थान के स्कूली छात्र अब पाठ्य पुस्तकों में भारतीय वायु सेना के पायलट विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन वर्थमान की बहादुरी की कहानी पढ़ेंगे। यह प्रस्ताव राज्य के शिक्षा मंत्री गोविंद सिंह डोटासरा की ओर से आया था जिन्होंने जोधपुर में पायलट की स्कूली शिक्षा का हवाला दिया था क्योंकि उन्होंने सोमवार को ट्वीट किया था "अभिनंदन की कहानी राजस्थान के स्कूल सिलेबस में उन्हें सम्मानित करने के प्रयास के लिए शुरू की जाएगी।" लेकिन डोटासरा ने उन वर्गों का उल्लेख नहीं किया जहां विंग कमांडर अभिनंदन की कहानी का अध्ययन किया जाएगा। इससे पहले मंत्री ने सिलेबस में पुलवामा हमले में शहीद हुए सैनिकों की कहानियों को जोड़ने का प्रस्ताव रखा था जिसे पाठ्यक्रम समीक्षा समिति ने स्वीकार कर लिया था।
