Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Nepal counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba on Sunday inaugurated the rail service between the two countries. The train between the two countries will operate from Jaynagar in Bihar to Kurtha in Janakpur.For the convenience of passengers, 8 stations, 6 halt stations, and 47 road crossings have been constructed on this rail section connecting the two countries.A total of 127 minor and 15 major bridges have been constructed on the newly gauged converted Jaynagar-Kurtha rail section of 34.9 km.

प्रधान मंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी और उनके नेपाल समकक्ष शेर बहादुर देउबा ने रविवार को दोनों देशों के बीच रेल सेवा का उद्घाटन किया। दोनों देशों के बीच ट्रेन बिहार के जयनगर से जनकपुर के कुर्था तक चलेगी। यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए दोनों देशों को जोड़ने वाले इस रेल खंड पर 8 स्टेशन, 6 हॉल्ट स्टेशन और 47 रोड क्रॉसिंग बनाए गए हैं। कुल 127 34.9 किमी के नए परिवर्तित जयनगर-कुर्थ रेल खंड पर छोटे और 15 बड़े पुलों का निर्माण किया गया है।
