Setting a milestone, Indian Air Force on Wednesday successfully test-fired a BrahMos supersonic cruise missile for the first time. Ministry of Defence said in a statement that the successful maiden test-firing of Brahmos will significantly bolster the IAF’s combat operations capability. BrahMos is a joint venture between India and Russia and named after the Brahmaputra and Moscowa rivers.
