The Indian Consulate in Milan has said that a string of incidents of assault on Indian students has emerged in northern Italy. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj said she had received a detailed report about the incidents and is personally monitoring the situation. The Consulate General of India in Milan has issued an advisory to Indian students and asked them not to panic.
