The Indian women’s team has become the champion of the inaugural Commonwealth Kabaddi Championship in Ahmedabad. India clinched the gold medal after registering a convincing 35-15 victory over Uganda in the final this evening. With this triumph, the Indian women’s team has made history by winning the maiden edition of the championship on home soil. Meanwhile, the Indian men’s team will face Sri Lanka in the final at 9:00 PM Indian time. Indian men’s team secured their spot in the championship clash with a dominant 56-27 win over Bangladesh in the semi-finals.
