India’s total coal production touched 661.54 lakh tonnes in the month of April, even as the country grappled with power shortages amid rising temperatures. This includes production by Coal India Ltd (CIL) and its subsidiaries at 534.7 lakh tonnes, Singareni Colleries Company Ltd (SCCL) at 53.23 lakh tonnes, and captive mines at 73.61 lakh tonnes in April.Despite the rise in coal production, India is facing a severe power crunch in various parts of the country.Coal India achieved its highest-ever production of 534.7 lakh tonne in April this year, indicating a 6.02% growth.

अप्रैल के महीने में भारत का कुल कोयला उत्पादन 661.54 लाख टन तक पहुंच गया, जबकि देश बढ़ते तापमान के बीच बिजली की कमी से जूझ रहा था। इसमें कोल इंडिया लिमिटेड (CIL) और उसकी सहायक कंपनियों द्वारा 534.7 लाख टन, सिंगरेनी कोलरीज कंपनी लिमिटेड (SCCL) द्वारा 53.23 लाख टन और कैप्टिव खदानों द्वारा अप्रैल में 73.61 लाख टन का उत्पादन शामिल है। कोयला उत्पादन में वृद्धि के बावजूद, देश के विभिन्न हिस्सों में बिजली की भारी कमी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है । कोल इंडिया ने इस साल अप्रैल में अब तक का सबसे अधिक 534.7 लाख टन उत्पादन हासिल किया, जो 6.02% की वृद्धि दर्शाता है।
