India's maiden biofuel flight, from Dehradun to Delhi, will be operated on Monday. It's been a long time since our country is striving to reduce it's dependency on fossil fuels and promote biofuels. On August 10, World Biofuel Day 2018, PM Modi released the “National Policy on Biofuel' in which the production of biofuel from renewable resources and using it in place of or in a blend with diesel, petrol or other fossil fuels for transport and other activities is envisaged.
