55 per cent of IndiGo's domestic flights were delayed on Saturday, largely as staff members took medical leave and landed on Air India's recruitment drive. Sources said that all the crew members took leave in the name of illness and went to join the recruitment drive of Air India. The second round of the Tata Group's Air India recruitment drive was on July 2, sources said. This was the reason that taking medical leave, most of the crew members of Indigo reached there in search of new employment. India's largest airline IndiGo currently operates about 1600 flights daily, domestic and international.
