A day after the former naval officer Kulbhushan Jadhav met his mother and wife in Islamabad, India criticized Pakistan for arranging this meeting in an atmosphere of coercion. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said, "under the guise of security precautions, Jadhav's wife and mother were harassed." Jadhav was arrested in March 2016 over alleged charge of terrorism.
