Jayant Sinha likens GST launch to a happy Indian wedding

Before the roll-out of the goods and services tax (GST) on 1st July, Union Minister Jayant Sinha tried to allay the fears of any disruption by likening it's launch to a 'happy Indian Wedding'. He called GST: 'the Republic’s instrument of simplicity'. On the contrary, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee called GST the central government's 'another epic blunder' after demonetization.
