Saleem Javed, one of the main accused in the Republic Day violence in UP’s Kasganj district was nabbed by the police on Wednesday. absconding since January 26, Saleem has been arrested in connection with the death of a youth, Chandan Gupta who died of the bullet injuries received in the violence. UP CM Yogi Adityanath said yesterday, "anarchy has no place in the state" and also promised strict action against the perpetrators of violence.

उत्तर प्रदेश के कासगंज जिले में गणतंत्र दिवस को हुई हिंसा में मुख्य आरोपी, सलीम जावेद बुधवार को पुलिस द्वारा पकड़ा गया।  26 जनवरी के बाद से ही फरार सलीम को एक युवक, चंदन गुप्ता की मौत के सिलसिले में गिरफ्तार किया गया, जिसकी हिंसा में लगी गोली के कारण मृत्यु हो गयी थी। उत्तर प्रदेश के मुख्यमंत्री योगी आदित्यनाथ ने कल कहा, "अराजकता का राज्य में कोई स्थान नहीं है" और हिंसा के दोषियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई का भी वादा किया।
