PDP president Mehbooba Mufti resorted to Twitter to issue a retort to the former ally and BJP president, Amit Shah’s allegations on PDP's misrule in J&K. She accused that BJP has disowned its own initiative by ending the coalition government. She wrote: "The allegations of discrimination against Jammu and Ladakh have no basis in reality."
