The New Jalpaiguri- Patna Vande Bharat Express train that was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday will start operating from March 14 from both ends. The semi-high-speed train will depart from New Jalpaiguri at 5.15 a.m. and reach Patna junction at 12.10 p.m. the same day. On its return journey, the NJP-Patna train will depart from Patna at 1.00 p.m. and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 8 p.m. the same day. It will travel a distance of 471 km via Kishanganj and Katihar in around 7 hours on either side, and will run six days a week. The train will have eight coaches -- one executive class, five chair cars and two driver trail coaches, with a seating capacity of 530 passengers.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने मंगलवार को जिस न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी-पटना वंदे भारत एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन को हरी झंडी दिखाई, वह 14 मार्च से दोनों तरफ से परिचालन शुरू कर देगी। सेमी-हाई-स्पीड ट्रेन न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी से सुबह 5.15 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और उसी दिन दोपहर 12.10 बजे पटना जंक्शन पहुंचेगी। अपनी वापसी यात्रा पर, एनजेपी-पटना ट्रेन दोपहर 1.00 बजे पटना से प्रस्थान करेगी और उसी दिन रात 8 बजे न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी पहुंचेगी। यह किशनगंज और कटिहार होते हुए दोनों तरफ से 471 किमी की दूरी लगभग 7 घंटे में तय करेगी और सप्ताह में छह दिन चलेगी। ट्रेन में आठ कोच होंगे - एक एग्जीक्यूटिव क्लास, पांच चेयर कार और दो ड्राइवर ट्रेल कोच, जिसमें 530 यात्रियों के बैठने की क्षमता होगी।
