The Odisha government today announced it has extended the lockdown over the COVID-19 pandemic till April 30, becoming the first state to do so. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has asked the centre not to start train and air services till April 30. "Odisha cabinet decides for extension and also recommends to the union government to do the same," the state government said in a statement. "Coronavirus is the biggest threat that the human race has faced in more than a century. Life will not be the same ever. All of us must understand this and face it boldly together". Mr Patnaik said in the statement.
ओडिशा सरकार ने आज घोषणा की कि उसने COVID-19 महामारी पर लॉकडाउन 30 अप्रैल तक बढ़ा दिया है, ऐसा करने वाला वह पहला राज्य बन गया है। मुख्यमंत्री नवीन पटनायक ने केंद्र से 30 अप्रैल तक ट्रेन और हवाई सेवा शुरू नहीं करने के लिए कहा है। राज्य सरकार ने एक बयान में कहा की ओडिशा कैबिनेट ने विस्तार का फैसला किया है और केंद्र सरकार को भी ऐसा करने की सिफारिश की है। "कोरोनावायरस सबसे बड़ा खतरा है जिसका मानव जाति ने एक सदी से अधिक समय में सामना किया है। जीवन कभी भी एक जैसा नहीं होगा। हम सभी को इसे समझना चाहिए और इसका निडर होकर सामना करना चाहिए"। श्री पटनायक ने बयान में कहा।
