Noida, near Delhi, looked like a snowy town on Thursday evening as the roads and highways were covered in hailstones. It was after nearly a decade that Delhi and neighbouring areas saw such heavy hailstorm that accompanied the evening rain. Residents and commuters, marveled at the unusual occurrence, went into a tizzy on social media posting pictures and videos of the "winter wonderland". Twenty-three domestic and nine international flights were diverted out of Delhi due to the bad weather, news agency ANI reported.
