Millions across India queued up this morning to vote in the second phase of the gigantic Lok Sabha elections. The round was preceded by multiple raids involving huge amounts of cash allegedly meant to bribe voters in Tamil Nadu, where voting has been cancelled in one of the 39 Lok Sabha seats. The state is also voting for by-polls in 18 assembly seats. State elections are also being held in Odisha. 95 Lok Sabha seats across 11 states and one in the Union Territory of Puducherry are voting in this round.
विशाल लोकसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण के मतदान के लिए आज सुबह भारत भर में लाखों लोग कतारबद्ध थे। चरण से पहले कई छापे पड़े थे, जिसमें बड़ी मात्रा में नकदी शामिल थी जो की तमिलनाडु जहाँ 39 लोकसभा सीटों में से एक में मतदान रद्द कर दिया गया है, में कथित रूप से मतदाताओं को रिश्वत देने के लिए थी। राज्य 18 विधानसभा सीटों पर उपचुनाव के लिए भी मतदान कर रहा है। ओडिशा में राज्य के चुनाव भी हो रहे हैं। 11 राज्यों में 95 लोकसभा सीटें और केंद्र शासित प्रदेश पुडुचेरी में एक इस दौर में मतदान कर रहे हैं।
