Addressing the UN ECOSOC session, the prime minister said the 75th anniversary of the UN is an opportunity to assess the world body's role and relevance in today's world. India was overwhelmingly elected as non-permanent member of the powerful Security Council last month. We are playing a salient role in achieving Agenda 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through our domestic efforts, PM Narendra Modi said.
