PM Narendra Modi on Friday unveiled a mobility road-map. exhorting the industrialists and global business leaders to create a new mobility ecosystem, he said that the world is now in the middle of a "new mobility revolution” and India has inherent advantages to leverage this opportunity. He also declared that the government will soon come out with an alternative fuel technology to boost e-mobility in India. He said, “Common public transport must be the cornerstone of our mobility initiatives.”
