Film director Prakash Jha has always made films on social issues. His films are sometimes on a political issue or sometimes on a big controversy. Continuing his efforts, Prakash is now coming up with a new web series Ashram. The director is a bit worried about this series being made on some religious leaders of the country. Ashram is being built on a very sensitive issue. The series will show about the religious leaders and babas who have cheated people in the name of faith or who have maligned the entire saint society in the name of faith.

फिल्म डायरेक्टर प्रकाश झा ने हमेशा समाजिक मुद्दों पर फिल्म बनाई है। उनकी फिल्में कभी कोई राजनीतिक मुद्दे पर होती है तो कभी किसी बड़े विवाद पर। अपने इसी प्रयास को जारी रखते हुए प्रकाश अब नई वेब धारावाहिक आश्रम के साथ आ रहें हैं। देश के कुछ धर्मगुरुओं पर बन रही इस धारावाहिक को लेकर डायरेक्टर थोड़े परेशान हैं। आश्रम को बड़े ही संवेदनशील मुद्दे पर बनाया जा रहा है। धारावाहिक में उन धर्मगुरुओं और बाबाओं के बारे में दिखाया जाएगा जिन्होंने आस्था के नाम पर लोगों को ठगा है या जिन्होंने आस्था के नाम पर पूरे संत समाज को बदनाम किया है।
