The Press Club of India (PCI) has strongly condemned the murder of senior journalist Gauri Lankesh in Bengaluru. In a statement, the PCI said that the way Gauri was shot outside her home shows how much law and order in Bengaluru is deteriorating. The PCI also stated, “Whatever differences she had with anyone, it was certainly not the way to attack an outspoken journalist."
