The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed the pleas that demanded an independent probe into the death of special CBI judge, B.H. Loya. The court stated judge Loya died of natural cause and that these petitions seems frivolous and a veiled attempt to misuse the judicial process. Judge Loya died allegedly of cardiac arrest on December 1, 2014 and he was trying the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case at that time.

सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गुरुवार को उन सभी याचिकाओं को खारिज कर दिया जिनमें स्पेशल CBI जज, B.H. लोया की मौत की स्वतंत्र जांच की मांग की गयी थी। अदालत ने कहा कि जज लोया की मौत प्राकृतिक कारणों से हुई और ये सभी याचिकाएं आसार व न्यायिक प्रक्रिया का दुरुपयोग करने की एक छिपी हुई कोशिश प्रतीत होती है। 1 दिसंबर, 2014 को न्यायाधीश लोया की कथित तौर पर कार्डियक अरेस्ट यानि दिल का दौरा पड़ने की मृत्यु हो गई थी और उस समय वे सोहराबुद्दीन शेख फर्जी एनकाउंटर मामले का मुकदमा देख रहे थे।
