A five-judge Bench led by Chief Justice of India (CJI) Ranjan Gogoi on Friday gave the Supreme Court-appointed mediation committee time till August 15 to continue with its efforts to resolve the prolonged and strife-ridden Ayodhya title dispute. “We will extend the time in order to enable the committee to complete the task assigned to it,” Chief Justice Gogoi addressed the parties present in the courtroom. The committee filed an interim report dated May 7 with the Constitution Bench.

भारत के मुख्य न्यायाधीश (CJI) रंजन गोगोई की अगुवाई वाली पांच-जजों की बेंच ने शुक्रवार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा नियुक्त मध्यस्थता समिति को 15 अगस्त तक का समय दिया, ताकि दीर्घकालीन विवादित अयोध्या अधिकार विवाद को सुलझाने के इसके प्रयासों को जारी रखा जा सके। “समिति को सौंपे गए कार्य को पूरा करने में सक्षम बनाने के लिए हम समय का विस्तार करेंगे” ,मुख्य न्यायाधीश गोगोई ने अदालत कक्ष में उपस्थित पक्षों को संबोधित किया। समिति ने 7 मई को संविधान पीठ के साथ एक अंतरिम रिपोर्ट दायर की थी।
