The stadium in Rae Bareli has been named after Indian hockey star Rani Rampal and she became the first female player to receive this honour. MCF Rae Bareli has now been renamed as 'Rani's Girls Hockey Turf'. Rani shared its pictures on social media in which she can be seen talking to the players and inaugurating the stadium. Rani tweeted, 'I cannot express my happiness in words. MCF Rae Bareilly Hockey Stadium has been named Rani's Girls Hockey Turf in recognition of my contribution to the game. He said, 'It is an emotional and proud moment for me. I am the first woman hockey player to have a hockey stadium named after me. I dedicate this to the Indian women's hockey team and hope it inspires the next generation'

भारतीय हॉकी स्टार रानी रामपाल (Rani Rampal) के नाम पर रायबरेली में स्टेडियम बनाया गया है और यह सम्मान पाने वाली वह पहली महिला खिलाड़ी बन गई. एमसीएफ रायबरेली का नाम अब‘रानीस गर्ल्स हॉकी टर्फ' रखा गया है. रानी ने सोशल मीडिया पर इसकी तस्वीरें साझा की जिसमें उन्हें खिलाड़ियों से बात करते और स्टेडियम का उद्घाटन करते देखा जा सकता है. रानी ने ट्वीट किया ,‘अपनी खुशी मैं शब्दों में बयां नहीं कर सकती. एमसीएफ रायबरेली हॉकी स्टेडियम का नाम खेल में मेरे योगदान को देखते हुए रानीस गर्ल्स हॉकी टर्फ रखा गया है. उसने कहा ,‘मेरे लिये यह भावुक और गर्व करने वाला पल है. अपने नाम पर हॉकी स्टेडियम वाली मैं पहली महिला हॉकी खिलाड़ी हूं.  मैं इसे भारतीय महिला हॉकी टीम को समर्पित करती हूं और उम्मीद करती हूं कि यह अगली पीढी को प्रेरित करेगा'
