Late DMK chief M Karunanidhi’s son M K Stalin on Tuesday was elected unopposed as the party president and senior leader S Duraimurugan became the treasurer.  A total of 1907 party people either proposed or seconded Stalin's name for the post. Now, the immediate challenge for Stalin will be to ward-off any rebellion by the sacked leader and his elder brother M K Alagiri.
