Today, on the 17th day, the team has achieved great success in the Silkyara Tunnel of Uttarkashi. After 400 hours, the process of evacuating the workers started at around 7.30 pm on Tuesday night. By around quarter to nine, all 41 laborers had been evacuated safely. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami first welcomed all the workers who came out of the tunnel by garlanding them. After this, CM Dhami talked to the workers for a long time and inquired about their well being. After medical checkup, all the workers have been sent to the district hospital. All the workers are healthy. There was no limit to the happiness of the people present outside the tunnel. Sweets were distributed among the soldiers and people present there. According to the report, rescue team member Harpal Singh said that the first break through was found at 7:05 pm. After the pipe pushing work was completed across the debris, preparations began to evacuate the workers safely. NDRF personnel went inside to rescue the workers. One by one all 41 laborers were brought out.

उत्तरकाशी के सिल्क्यारा सुरंग में आज 17वें दिन बड़ी सफलता टीम को मिली है। 400 घंटे के बाद मंगलवार रात करीब साढ़े सात बजे मजदूरों को निकालने की प्रक्रिया शुरू हुई। करीब पौने नौ बजे तक सभी 41 मजदूरों को सुरक्षित निकाल लिया गया है। सुरंग से बाहर आए सभी मजदूरों को सीएम पुष्कर सिंह धामी ने पहले माला पहनाकर स्वागत किया। इसके बाद सीएम धामी ने मजदूरों से काफी देर तक बात कर उनका हालचाल जाना। मेडिकल चेकअप के बाद सभी मजदूरों को जिला अस्पताल भेज दिया गया है। सभी मजदूर स्वस्थ हैं। सुरंग के बाहर मौजूद लोगों की खुशी का ठिकाना नहीं रहा। जवान और वहां मौजूद लोगों को मिठाई बांटी। रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, रेस्क्यू टीम के सदस्य हरपाल सिंह ने बताया कि शाम 7:05 बजे पहला ब्रेक थ्रू मिला था. पाइप पुशिंग का काम मलबे के आर-पार होने के बाद मजदूरों को सुरक्षित बाहर निकालने की तैयारी शुरू हुई. NDRF के जवान मजूदरों को रेस्क्यू करने के लिए अंदर गए. एक-एक करके सभी 41 मजदूरों को बाहर लाया गया.
