The Supreme Court has refused to pass any interim order on the government's decision of making Aadhaar card mandatory for availing various social welfare schemes. The status quo is that those who do not have Aadhaar card can not be deprived of any such benefit till the next hearing. The court believes that there is no urgency to pass the judgement based on mere apprehensions.
