त्रिपुरा की सभी 60 विधानसभा सीटों के लिए गुरुवार को मतदान हुआ. शाम 5 बजे तक 80% मतदान हुआ. हालांकि, ये डेटा अभी अपडेट हो सकता है. चुनाव के नतीजे 2 मार्च को आएंगे. निर्वाचन आयोग ने बताया कि त्रिपुरा में आज संपन्न मतदान ‘‘ कुल मिलाकर हिंसा मुक्त रहा''. सालों बाद ब्रू जनजाति के लोगों ने अपने मताधिकार का प्रयोग किया. अंतिम आंकड़े शुक्रवार को सामने आएंगे. निर्वाचन अधिकारियों ने बताया कि आयोग से कहीं भी अबतक दोबारा मतदान कराने की मांग नहीं की गई है. आयोग ने कहा, ‘‘ अबतक किसी बड़ी हिंसक घटना या उम्मीदवार या चुनाव एजेंट पर हमले या मतदाताओं को धमकाने, बम फेंकने , दोबारा चुनाव कराने या इलेक्ट्रॉनिक वोटिंग मशीन (ईवीएम) को नुकसान पहुंचाने की खबर नहीं मिली है.  जबकि वर्ष 2019 के लोकसभा चुनाव के दौरान 168 स्थानों से दोबारा मतदान कराने की मांग की गई थी. आज 60 सदस्यीय त्रिपुरा विधानसभा के लिए हुआ मतदान कुल मिलाकार शांतिपूर्ण रहा और अबतक कहीं से दोबारा मतदान की मांग नहीं की गई है.''

Election Commission said polling in Tripura today was "by and large violence-free". Years later, the people of the Bru tribe exercised their franchise. The final figures will come out on Friday. Election officials said that no demand has been made to the Commission for re-polling anywhere. "No major incident of violence or attack on candidate or election agent or intimidation of voters, hurling of bombs, conduct of re-election or damage to Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) has been reported so far," the commission said. While during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, there was a demand for re-polling from 168 places. Today's polling for the 60-member Tripura Assembly was by and large peaceful and there has been no demand for re-poll from anywhere so far.
