The Commonwealth Games Federation on Friday suspended the accreditation of Indian athletes Rakesh Babu and KT Irfan for breaching the 'No Needle Policy'. A used needle was found in one of the athlete's room, while the syringe was found during the surprise checks conducted by the Australia Sports Anti-Doping Authority in Rakesh's bag. The CGF said the denial of both the athletes from the breach is unreliable and evasive. The athletes have been ordered to return home.
