Disgraced Australian cricketer David Warner on Thursday apologised to fans and said he took responsibility for his mistake in the scandal related to ball-tampering. Through an Instagram post, Warner said, "I understand the distress this has caused the sport and its fans."Vice-captain Warner, along with captain Steve Smith, has been banned from all international and domestic cricket for a year for their behaviour.
