The Supreme Court on Friday sharply criticised Delhi government hospitals after a petition was filed pertaining to alleged mishandling of Covid-19 affected dead bodies. The top court also pulled up Delhi government over a dip in coronavirus testing at a time when cases are rising faster than before in the national capital. The three-judge SC bench went on to say that the situation is "horrendous" with respect to the handling of Covid-19 patients in Delhi and that they are being treated "worse than animals".
