Learn by TIPS:

‘I' और ‘ME' में confusion तब होता है जब दो subjects या objects एक ही वाक्य में and या or से जुड़े हुए हो। जैसे -

INCORRECT: Me and my friend can speak the Russian language.

CORRECT: My friend and I can speak the Russian language. (मेरी दोस्त और मैं रूसी भाषा में बात कर सकते हैं।)

INCORRECT: Sheena and me are going to a party tonight.

CORRECT: Sheena and I are going to a party tonight. (शीना और मैं आज रात एक पार्टी में जा रहे हैं।)

INCORRECT: This is for you and I.

CORRECT: This is for you and me. (यह तुम्हारे और मेरे लिए है।)

NOTE: When there are more than two subjects or objects, take out the other person, and it’ll be clear.

For example, in the sentence- this is for you and I, omit the ‘you’ and repeat it. You’ll never be tempted to say ‘this is for I’ = ‘यह मैं के लिए है’. जैसे ही आप ऐसा करते हैं, आप समझ जाएंगे कि यह गलत हैं और आपको I की जगह ME का प्रयोग करना है।

Learn by TIPS:

‘I‘ is a subject pronoun. जब हम खुद कार्य करते हैं तो 'I' का प्रयोग होता है।
‘Me‘ is an object pronoun. जब हम किये गए कार्य के receiver होते हैं।
‘Myself‘ is a reflexive pronoun. 'Myself' का प्रयोग तब किया जाता है जब कार्य करने वाला और कार्य का receiver एक ही हो।

‘I‘ is used to address the doer of the verb or to explain a ‘state of being'(something or someone). For example:-

I can speak English. (मैं अंग्रेज़ी बोल सकता हूँ।)

(here I is the subject of can speak)

I am an employee in this company. (मैं इस कंपनी में एक कर्मचारी हूँ।)

( I am  = state of being an employee)

‘Me‘  is used to when you are the receiver of someone else’s action. For example:

My parents have always encouraged me. (मेरे माता-पिता ने हमेशा मुझे प्रोत्साहित किया है।)

(‘Me‘ is the object of encouraged which means:  you are receiving the encouragement from your parents)

She asked me to help her. (उसने मुझे उसकी मदद करने के लिए कहा।)

Learn by TIPS:

MYSELF = खुद, अपने आप, स्वयं

‘Myself‘ or any ‘ -self ‘ ending word is a reflexive pronoun ( निजवाचक सर्वनाम ) जिसका अर्थ है कि ‘कर्ता’ और ‘उस’ क्रिया का रिसीवर एक ही है।

While using ‘myself’, it’s important to use ‘I’ in the same sentence as it clarifies that the main subject pronoun or doer of the sentence is ‘I’ and ‘myself’ is just reflecting the action upon ‘I’. For example:

I can see myself as a good teacher. (मैं खुद को एक अच्छे शिक्षक के रूप में देख सकता हूं।)

Here, the subject ‘I’ and object ‘myself’, for the verb ‘see’, refer to the same person.

Don’t worry, I can take care of myself. (चिंता मत करो, मैं खुद की देखभाल कर सकती हूँ।)

सामान्य गलतियां जो हमें नहीं करनी चाहिए -

कभी भी अपना परिचय देते समय Myself Amit (name) ना बोले.हमेशा I am Amit (name) का प्रयोग करें

Also, do not use myself as a substitute for I or me. For instance, don’t say:

She saw myself in the mall. (incorrect)

She saw me in the mall. (उसने मुझे मॉल में देखा था।) (correct)

Rohan and myself are going for a trip. (incorrect)

Rohan and I are going for a trip. (रोहन और मैं एक यात्रा के लिए जा रहे हैं।) (correct)
