The #supremecourt has expressed deep displeasure over the non-release of undertrial prisoners lodged in jails of Uttar Pradesh without delay and has reprimanded the #uttarpradesh government as well as the #allahabad_high_court . While advising the UP government, the Supreme Court said that if you are not able to handle it, then we will take this burden and handle it. SC told the UP government that you have not analyzed 853 cases and you are continuously asking for time from the court. In this case, the Supreme Court has now given two weeks to the UP government to give details to these prisoners.

उत्तर प्रदेश के जेलों में लंबे समय से बंद विचाराधीन कैदियों को बिना देरी के रिहा ना करने पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने गहरी नाराजगी जताई है और उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार के साथ-साथ इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट को फटकार लगाई है. इसके साथ ही सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यूपी सरकार से जेल में बंद उन 853 कैदियों का ब्योरा देने को कहा है, जो पिछले 10 साल से अधिक समय से राज्य के अलग-अलग जेलों में बंद हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यूपी सरकार को नसीहत देते हुए कहा कि यदि आप इसे संभालने में सक्षम नहीं हैं तो हम ये बोझ उठाएंगे और इसे संभाल लेंगे. SC ने यूपी सरकार से कहा कि आपने 853 मामलों का विश्लेषण नहीं किया है और आप लगातार अदालत से समय मांगते जा रहे हैं. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले में यूपी सरकार को इन कैदियों को ब्यौरा देने के लिए अब दो हफ्ते का समय दिया है I
