Charge:
s a noun:
शुल्क/ क़ीमत (the amount of money that you have to pay for something, especially for an activity or service)
They fixed my watch free of charge. (उन्होंने मेरी घड़ी को बिना शुल्क लिए ठीक किया।)
इल्ज़ाम (the act of accusing someone of something bad)
The PM responded angrily to the charge that he had lost touch with his country's people. (प्रधान मंत्री ने गुस्से में इल्ज़ाम की प्रत्युत्तर दिया कि उन्होंने अपने देश के लोगों के साथ संपर्क खो दिया है।)
ज़िम्मा (responsibility for controlling or caring for something)
His boss asked him to take charge of the office for a few days while she was away. (उसके बॉस ने उससे कुछ दिनों के लिए कार्यालय का ज़िम्मा लेने के लिए कहा, जब वह बाहर थी।)
धावा/ आक्रमण (an attack in which people or animals suddenly run forward)
The police took charge suddenly. (पुलिस ने अचानक धावा बोला।)
As a verb:
दाम मांगना/ शुल्क लेना (to ask an amount of money for something, especially a service or activity)
The local museum doesn't charge for admission. (स्थानीय संग्रहालय प्रवेश के लिए शुल्क नहीं लेता।)
ज़िम्मेदारी देना (assign a duty, responsibility or obligation to)
Atul was given a charge of whole office. (अतुल को पूरे कार्यालय का ज़िम्मेदारी दी गयी।)
दोष लगाना (instruct (a jury) about the law, its application, and the weighing of evidence)
He was charged with the murder. (उस पर हत्या का आरोप लगाया गया था।)
