Correct use of Can and can’t


Can and can’t( can/can’t + base form of the verb ) used to express a variety of ideas in English such as
1. Ability/Lack of Ability - ex : Tanveer can write poetry very well. / Lisa can’t speak French.
2. Possibility / Impossibility - ex : You can catch that train at 10:43. / He can’t see you right now. He’s in surgery.
3. Ask Permission / Give Permission - Can you lend me ten dollars? / You can borrow my car.
