Irregular verbs के end में regular verb की तरह ‘d’ or ‘ed’ का use नहीं किया जाता और इनकी spelling भी root form से अलग होती है।
Mostly irregular verbs में 2nd और 3rd form same रहती है, जिनमें से से कुछ verbs हम आज सीखेंगे।

1. Build - Built - Built
Base form - BUILD
Kids want to build their toy house. (बच्चे अपना toy house बनाना चाहते हैं।)
2nd form - BUILT
Workers built this building (कामगारों ने ये बिल्डिंग बनाई।)
3rd form - BUILT
Tom has built many dog houses. (टॉम कई सारे dog house बना चुका है।)

2. Catch - Caught - Caught
Base form - CATCH
We have to catch that thief. (हमें उस चोर को पकड़ना है।)
2nd form - CAUGHT
She caught the ball with one hand. (उसने एक हाथ से गेंद को पकड़ लिया।)
3rd form - CAUGHT
I have caught him three times. (मैं उसे तीन बार पकड़ चुकी हूँ।)

3. Keep - Kept - Kept
Base form - KEEP
Try to keep her busy today. (उसे आज व्यस्त रखने की कोशिश करो।)
2nd form - KEPT
He kept silent all the day. (वह पुरे दिन चुप रहा।)
3rd form - KEPT
I have kept her like my own daughter. मैंने उसे अपनी खुद की बेटी की तरह रखा है।)
