Use of Subordinating Conjunctions Although, After and Before.


Although—means "in spite of the fact that". Example :
1. Although it was raining, I ran home.
2. She showed up, although she felt sick.

After—indicates "subsequently to the time when". Example :
1. Please text me after you arrive at the shopping mall.

Before—indicates "earlier than the time that". Example :
1. Before he contacted me, I was going to call him.
2. I need to finish the dishes before my wife gets home.
