मेट्रो आज के समय में transport की एक life line की तरह है। मेट्रो से बहुत बार सफर किया होगा और बहुत बार बाहर लगे board को भी देखा होगा जिस पर लिखा होता है - Dont's. (मतलब मेट्रो स्टेशन पर क्या नहीं करना चाहिए।) आज इन्हीं instructions का अर्थ जानते हैं -
Do not bring eatable inside the station premises (स्टेशन परिसर के अंदर खाद्य सामग्री न लाये)
Do not bring pets inside (पालतू जानवरों को अंदर नहीं लाएं)
Do not smoke (धूम्रपान न करें)
Do not travel without your smart card or token (अपने स्मार्ट कार्ड या टोकन के बिना यात्रा न करें)
Do not jump over the ticket barrier (टिकट सीमा (बैरियर) को न तोड़े)
Do not share your card or token with another person on the same journey (उसी यात्रा पर किसी अन्य व्यक्ति के साथ अपना कार्ड या टोकन साझा न करें)
Do not cross the yellow line on the platform (प्लेटफार्म पर पीले रंग की रेखा को पार न करें)
Do not step onto the Metro tracks (मेट्रो ट्रैक पर कदम न रखें)
Do not travel on the roof of the train (ट्रेन की छत पर यात्रा न करें)
Do not try to open the doors forcibly (जबरन दरवाजे खोलने की कोशिश न करें)
Do not deface or put up posters inside the Metro station or train (मेट्रो स्टेशन या ट्रेन के भीतर पोस्टर को न लगाए या ख़राब न करें)
Don’t step on the Tactiles meant for the visually impaired (नेत्रहीनों के लिए बने टेक्टिल्स पर कदम न रखें)
Don’t use the lift, it is meant for the physically challenged (लिफ्ट का उपयोग न करें, यह विकलांगों के लिए है)
