Relative Pronoun-Who, whom, whose, which, that

(a) Who का प्रयोग human beings के लिए तथा which का प्रयोग वस्तु के लिए किया जाता है
Example : This is the boy who broke the glass.

(b) That का प्रयोग मानव जाति या वस्तु के लिए, अर्थात Who या which के बदले में किया जाता है
Example : This is the boy that broke the glass.

(c) Superlative degree, only, none, all (everything के अर्थ में) the same के बाद That का प्रयोग होता है Who, whom, which का नहीं
Example : She is the most intelligent girl that I know.

(d) Who का प्रयोग Nominative case में होता है अर्थात इसके बाद verb आता है जबकि whom का प्रयोग objective case में होता है और इसके बाद verb नहीं आता
Example : The girl whom I met today was Amit’s friend.
